Traditional tailoring canvas — rayon, cotton, polyester and real horsehair woven together. The horsehair is what gives it springiness: it resists being flattened, so a lapel rolls into a curve and stays there instead of pressing flat.
Sew-in only. This is the material a bespoke jacket front is built on, and nothing fusible imitates it convincingly.
