Before you order
When should I use clips instead of pins?
Whenever the layers are thick or the fabric marks. A pin has to pierce the stack, which distorts binding and leaves a hole in coated or tightly woven cloth. Clips hold the same layers flat without either problem, and they do not end up under the needle.
