The firmest thing in the line. Peltex is a dense resilient nonwoven that behaves more like card than fabric — it is what fabric bowls, brimmed hats, boxes and structured purse bases are actually made of.
It sews, but slowly. Use a sharp new needle and do not expect to turn a corner in a hurry.
Rather fuse than baste: 71F Peltex has fusible on one face, 72F Peltex on both. Firm but still supple: 926 Extra-Firm.
