Pellon Wool Blend Batting — 50/50 Wool and Cotton

Half wool, half cotton, scrim bonded. It keeps most of wool's warmth and breathability while the cotton adds weight and grip — the layers do not slide the way pure wool can, which makes it easier to baste and easier to run through a domestic machine.
A sensible middle if pure wool feels like too much money or too much loft.
