Pellon 987F Fusible Fleece

Midweight low-loft fleece with fusible on one side. This is the one in most bag patterns — it gives a panel body and a little padding without the bulk of batting, and because it fuses, the outer fabric stops wrinkling at the seams.

Press with steam and hold; it needs heat and moisture to bond properly, and a dry quick pass will lift again later.

Too thick for a small pouch: 986F is thinner. Need more body: 973F. Fabric that cannot take iron heat: 988 is the sew-in version.
