The original paper-backed fusible web, and the one almost every applique pattern is written for. Press it to the wrong side of your applique fabric, draw and cut the shape, peel the paper, position, press again. It holds permanently.
Draw your shapes in reverse on the paper side — the finished applique is a mirror of what you trace, and it is the mistake everyone makes once.
