A sheer fusible knit that stretches in one direction and holds firm in the other. Cut it so the firm direction runs along a shoulder seam or a neckline and it stops that edge growing, while the garment still moves everywhere else.
Also sold as one-inch tape, which is the form most people want for seam stabilizing.
